Naples, FL

So it is our last stop before getting to Marathon, FL for the remainder of the winter.  We arrived into Naples City Docks on Christmas Eve and will be leaving on New Years Day.  Naples downtown is very high end.  Beautiful homes and upscale shops and restaurants.

Just one of many large yachts here in Naples

We have done some biking and a lot of work on our decks.  While on Captiva Island during the rain Captain Keith put a special cleaner on the wood decks.  After this cleaning we needed to get several coats of the conditioner back on the decks so we used the good weather while in Naples to do this.  Southern Style is looking good and we are ready to get to Marathon.  My refrigerator is getting pretty empty.  I need to get to Marathon and restock.

Sad looking refrigerator

The weather has been wonderful with sun and temperatures  during the day in the low 80s.  We are expecting a very nice ride down to Marathon on New Years Day. Seas 2 feet or less.  Ideal to travel.

We also got to watch the Naples fireworks on New Years Eve from the flybridge on Southern Style.

This one looked like a sea biscuit

Happy New Year to All!!!  May health and happiness find you in the 2019.  Watch for us in Marathon 2019.
