Fishy Fishy

We were lucky to have good friends Dave and Paula on the boat Sequel with us for our first week in Ocracoke.  This is Sequel in the morning sun and at the park service dock just in front of Southern Style.

The weather Wed., Thurs., and Fri. was great.  Temps were nice and winds light.  This gave captains Dave and Keith the fishing bug.  Keith caught a nice flounder his first day out fishing from the dingy.  Here is the flounder which fed all 4 of us for dinner.

That really got them wanting  to have lines in the water.  So Friday all 4 of us headed in the dinghies to the south end of the island at Ocracoke Inlet.  Keith even tried fishing double fisted on the ride down to the point.

At the point the ladies (aka the admirals) explored the beach for treasures.
Dave's furry family members also had a good time.

Unfortunately we did not have any luck fishing at the point.  (Hence the term fishing and not catching).  That was OK though because we all went back to the dock and relaxed.  Here are Dave and Keith relaxing.  Keith still trying to catch something.

Here are Keith and I relaxing on Sequel.
